This logo was developed for a local guitar repair and maintenance shop, and was designed to reflect the personality and the background of the proprietor, just as the name itself was.
Deadfall is a term for dead trees that have fallen in dense forests but remain standing, held up by the other trees. It's a common sight in central Newfoundland where the owner is from, and he has a tattoo on his forearm that features such trees. The graphic element of his logo is actually based on
a specific tree from his tattoo.
So far, the branding has been applied to business cards, stickers, a rubber
stamp for use with invoicing and receipts, and a custom wooden business
card holder designed in conjunction with the owner himself.
